Sprint Hemorrhaging Subscribers… Next Step, Gouge Them!

Sprint, at one point in my life, was my carrier of choice. Their customer service was great, I had no contract and their coverage was great. They got even better when they expanded their CDMA roaming agreements with Altel and Verizon to include data. However since the company is bleeding money and losing subscribers at an alarming rate they decide not to fix the customer service issues - they decide to start cutting services.

This tidbit showed up in my feeds today:

“Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred and to deny, terminate, modify, or suspend service if usage exceeds 5GB per month in total or 300MB/month while off-network roaming. Check your subscriber agreement rights on Sprint.com.”

Sprint, the only way to make yourself standout and gain customers back is to keep “unlimited” unlimited! How about bleed a little more money and hire some great CSRs. Look at your user base and make cheaper calling plans. This is the only way to survive.
